Dawna,
I'm racing off to work right now, but I wanted to take two seconds to tell you what a great time Chelsea and I had yesterday!  She is really amazing.  We hunted for 4 hours and she stayed engaged the entire time.  We were with a very seasoned pointing lab, and there were multiple occasions had she not started to get "birdie" we would have left the area, only to find a bird (s) nearby.  She had one very nice, controlled flush, and retrieve right off the bat, and did three more before the day was out.  We got six birds in all and she had a ball!  What a fun dog.  Once she got the hang of it you should have seen her crawling on her belly under the brush following a bird.  My eyes are welling up... proud papa!  (bad papa though... no video or photos) Chris Stinnett

Belle has a mind of her own but she just loves to please you and be part of the family, she is very obedient. She is 26 inches at the shoulders, she's a big healthy girl. Her natural hunting skills are great. She loves to point our cat Daisy. Not that Daisy is too keen on the idea, Belle will give a little chase but then want to play, Daisy will have none of that. Belle loves to point Butterflies, outdoor cats (to which she would love to get her paws on) she's amazing to watch. Tom did not get to go out to SD this year due to his work schedule. So she has not yet been on a real hunt. She retrieves great, she holds her point, she has a pretty soft mouth, dropping her catch is a little bit of a struggle for her but I'm sure she'll get it. Tom was very disappointed that they did not get to go.
Oh the booties are more for inside, the poor thing was slipping so bad on the wood floor I had to do something. It was a bit of a struggle the 1st few times getting them on her, we were both out of breath by the time it was over, but once she realized she could walk and not slip she doesn't mind them. She is so smart it's amazing. I can't tell you enough about how good her disposition is. For instance at Christmas during school break and my vacation, Abby, Belle and I were laying in bed watching movies. Belle's head on my tummy, Abby's head on Belle's tummy, by the end of the movie we were all napping. She's great, she gets a little wired and uncontrollable at times but that's to be expected she'll calm with age. Before Christmas we had to put our 16yr old Dashound to sleep, the hardest thing Tom and I have ever had to do. So now Belle is our only dog. We're thinking of getting another dog this spring, I don't think dogs should live alone, they need dog companionship. Oh, well sorry to bend your ear so much. Glad you were pleased with your offspring as you should be, everyone who sees her says how beautiful she is. We did give your information to a friend a couple of months back so hopefully they'll be touching base with you. We will always highly recommend you.  Take care.

Dawna,
Chelsea is sleeping on the couch next to us as we sit here and watch TV.  She is such a great dog.  She is very mellow; you can almost see her just sitting there evaluating her surroundings.  I am very impressed with how smart she is and how quickly she learns things.  Literally, you show her something one time and she just gets it.  I have been hunting with her once... no pheasants, but she found a couple of chukkar, (accidentally and they were flushed).  I have been doing some sessions with a good trainer in the area.  We have worked on simple dummy fetching and recently scent drags.  She was amazing with that.  She found all of the toughest drags even downwind, and retreived them.  I am taking it very slow and patient with her, but she is really progressing.  The trainer that I am working with is really amazed at how low key she is, yet when you start working with her how intellectual and engaged she is.  Its been really fun.  After hearing about her dad, and how smart he is, I am thinking that has been passed on to her.  She is truly a fun dog.  I will send some photos as soon as I can figure out how to send them.      Hi to all in Carter!

MY NAME IS ROB TAYLOR....I OWN A SMALL GUN & DOG SUPPLY SHOP IN BEDMINSTER, PA. ONE OF YOUR CLIENTS, CHRIS STINNET CONTACTED ME ABOUT TRAINING A WEIMARANER PUP HE HAS. NORMALLY I DON'T BOTHER WRITING BREEDERS,SO MANY GREAT DOGS JUST DON'T HAVE OWNERS WILLING TO GET DOWN AND WORK WITH THEIR PUPS. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW CHRIS IS DOING THE WORK. HE LOVES THAT PUP. I TOLD HIM HOW LUCKY HE IS, I SEE SO MANY GUYS STRUGGLING WITH PUPS THAT JUST DON'T HAVE IT. AT 7 MONTHS SHE IS A JOY TO TRAIN, AWESOME NOSE,G REAT DESIRE AND PRETTY TOUGH . WHILE IN PURSUIT OF A PHEASANT IN EXTREMELY THICK AND NASTY COVER A THORN ABOUT 3 INCHES LONG WENT THROUGH HER OUTER EAR. IT STOPPED HER IN HER TRACKS. CHRIS GOT HER UNHOOKED AND SHE AT ONCE RETURNED TO WORK.....I WAS ABLE TO WATCH CHELSEA CRAW THROUGH SUPER NASTY COVER TO GET HER BIRD.
DESIRE AND LOVE OF WORKING BIRDS IS SO EVIDENT IN THIS DOG THAT I THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE. ROB.

I have been doing some good hunts with Chelsea. She works good on her own and does a nice job with her giant lab friend, Jesse.  I am attaching a couple of pictures; the point was really amazing.  She was running along and slammed on the brakes and jerked her head right, (into the wind) and held this point for a few minutes as I was able to get my camera out and shoot some photos before shooting the bird!  I think the best thing that she and I have together is that she really loves to please, and we are really just having fun together when we hunt.

Hope you like the photos!
